Within the transparent stone, slight variations in depth and gentle shifts of light create a soft expression that changes with the angle. The calm red contains just enough vividness to give the ear a quiet presence. Compared with K10, the deeper tone of K18 gold harmonizes beautifully with the ruby and adds a subdued richness to the overall look. When light strikes the piece, the soft gold glow overlaps with the stone’s color, creating greater visual depth. BAND Collection
Unlike conventional stone-setting techniques, this series uses januka’s original setting method, in which grooves are carved directly into the stone to secure it with lines and raised sections of gold. With no prongs or other elements covering the stone, its entire form remains visible, allowing the structure itself—rather than added decoration—to become the design.
Each piece is created through the highly specialized craftsmanship of a gemstone carver in Kofu and a dedicated metalworker. Working with precision down to 0.1 mm, the series is defined by a level of handcraft and expertise that only these individual artisans can achieve.

Q. The design looks delicate. Is it fragile?
A.The BAND series is designed with minimal visible metal in order to showcase the natural beauty of each stone. Because of this delicate construction, strong impacts or contact with hard surfaces may cause the stone to chip or break. Please note that durability also varies depending on the hardness and characteristics of the natural stone you choose.
Rather than wearing these pieces continuously every day, we recommend treating them as special jewelry to be worn when going out and handling them with care. With normal wear while out and about, they can be enjoyed comfortably without concern.
Q. What should I do if my jewelry becomes damaged?
A.Please contact us through our official LINE account or the contact form on our website. Once we have assessed the condition of the piece, we will provide you with a repair estimate.
If the stone has broken, we may be able to source another stone with a similar character and remake the piece. However, as every natural stone used in the BAND series is one of a kind, we cannot recreate a piece with exactly the same color, shape, or appearance. We appreciate your understanding.

Every piece in januka’s BAND series is one of a kind, and each item shown in our online store is individually photographed. The photographs therefore show the actual piece you will receive.

Q. How should I care for and store my jewelry after wearing it?
A.After wearing your jewelry, gently wipe away any perspiration or oils with a soft cloth or jewelry cloth before storing it.
Because the BAND series exposes a larger surface area of the stone, we recommend storing each piece separately in its own case or pouch to prevent it from coming into contact with other jewelry and becoming scratched.
Please also avoid direct contact with water, cosmetics, perfume, and other substances that may affect the stone.
Q. Can I purchase from outside Japan?
A.Yes. We offer international shipping via DHL.
International orders are subject to a shipping fee of ¥7,000 in addition to the product price. Any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
