Size & Fit
The L size measures approximately 20 mm in diameter. Two rings overlap around the earlobe, creating a dimensional presence despite the use of fine wire. The Herkimer diamond sits slightly away from the earlobe and shines as a point of focus inside the forward-facing rings. This size allows both the delicacy of the lines and the sculptural construction to be appreciated clearly.
Although visually substantial, the earring feels light to wear. The pierced version uses a hinged closure with no separate backing, making it simple to put on and remove. The clip-on version uses a screw mechanism so the pressure can be adjusted to the earlobe, and its light body also makes it suitable for longer wear.
Details
Herkimer diamond is a type of quartz found around Herkimer County in New York State, USA. Despite its name, it is mineralogically quartz, known for its high transparency and naturally formed sharp crystal shape.
In CLIP, a small Herkimer diamond retaining the form of the rough crystal is set between two rings. Combining delicate metal lines with a transparent crystal creates a three-dimensional structure without excessive volume. As a natural stone, each crystal differs in shape, size, and inclusions. Q. 使用後のお手入れや保管はどのようにすればよいですか？
A.ご使用後は、柔らかい布（眼鏡拭きなど）で汗や皮脂を優しく拭き取ってから保管してください。
⚠️ 注意：研磨剤（研磨剤入り磨きクロス等）は絶対に使用しないでください。
clipシリーズはシルバー（SV925）の上にメッキ加工を施しているため、研磨剤で磨くとメッキが剥がれてしまう原因となります。
また、メッキ加工を施していても、空気中の成分や汗・水分に触れたまま放置すると徐々に変色する場合がございます。ご使用後は空気に触れにくい密閉袋（ジッパーバッグ等）に入れて保管していただくのがおすすめです。
Q. 使用していて変色してしまった場合は、元に戻せますか？
A.はい、メンテナンスやお修理が可能です。直営店（南青山）へのお持ち込み、またはご郵送にてお気軽にご相談ください。
軽微な変色の場合： 店頭にてクリーニングを行い、その場（当日）で綺麗な状態に戻せることが多いです。
変色が根強い場合・メッキが薄くなった場合： 再度メッキを掛け直すお修理（※有料）を承っております。
お入れ替えや再メッキを行うことで、末永く綺麗な状態でご愛用いただけます。
Q. 着用したままお風呂や温泉に入っても大丈夫ですか？
A.入浴時や洗顔時、運動時は外していただくことをおすすめいたします。
特に温泉の成分（硫黄等）やプール（塩素）、入浴剤などはメッキの剥がれや変色を著しく早める原因となります。また、手洗いや水仕事の際も、メッキの持ちを良くするために外していただくのがおすすめです。
Q. Can scratches or deformation of the metal be repaired?
A.Yes. We offer both maintenance and repair services.
Our craftspeople can polish out minor scratches, correct deformation, and provide other appropriate maintenance depending on the condition of your jewelry.
Please feel free to bring your piece to our flagship store or send it to us for assessment and repair.
Q. Can I see and try on the pieces in person? Can I also purchase from outside Japan?
A.Yes. You can view and try on pieces from our online store at our flagship store in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.
We also offer international shipping via DHL. International orders are subject to a shipping fee of ¥7,000 in addition to the product price. Any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.

Q. 「淡水パール」とはどのような真珠ですか？
A.淡水パールは、海ではなく川や湖などの「淡水」に生息するイケチョウ貝などを母貝として育まれる真珠です。
海で育つ真珠（アコヤ真珠・白蝶真珠・黒蝶真珠など）は中心に丸い「核」を入れて養殖するため正円に近いものが多くなりますが、淡水パールは真珠層だけで作られる（無核の）ことが多いため、楕円形やドロップ型、バロック（異形）など、豊かなフォルムや柔らかで温かみのある輝きが生まれます。
また、汗や皮脂による劣化にも比較的強く、デイリーに気兼ねなく楽しめる点も魅力のひとつです。
Q. 「ハーキマーダイヤモンド」とは何ですか？
A.ハーキマーダイヤモンドは、鉱物学的には「ダイヤモンド」ではなく、アメリカのニューヨーク州ハーキマー地区でのみ採掘される非常に透明度の高い「水晶（クォーツ）」です。 採掘された時点でカットや研磨を施したかのように、両端が尖った美しい18面体の形状（ダブルターミネーテッド）をしており、ダイヤモンドのように強く光り輝くことからその名が付けられました。人間の手を加えていない「自然のままの原石の造形美」と、みずみずしい透明感・独自の輝きを楽しんでいただける希少な天然石です。
