A CLIP series earring featuring a freshwater pearl between two rings. Worn by holding the earlobe between the rings, the circles face forward and the pearl appears to float within them. The L size measures approximately 20 mm in diameter. Enlarging both the rings and pearl makes the three-dimensional CLIP structure more visible while preserving the lightness of the fine lines.

Size & Fit
The L size is approximately 20 mm in diameter. The rings extend with space around the earlobe, placing the pearl within that open structure and making CLIP’s dimensional quality especially clear. The pearl itself has strong presence, making this size ideal when you want the ear jewelry to become the focal point.
Despite the visual volume, the use of fine rings keeps the earring light to wear. The larger pearl also adds a dressed-up quality, so the design works both as an accent to simple everyday outfits and with more polished styling.
Details
The design consists of two fine rings overlapping front and back with a freshwater pearl secured between them. The rings are silver with K18 gold plating, combining a delicate gold line with the soft luster of pearl. The pierced post is K10 yellow gold.
CLIP holds the earlobe between two rings, turning the circular form—normally seen from the side—to face forward. The L size measures approximately 20 mm and uses a larger pearl as well as larger rings than the S. Depth is visible not only from the front but also from the side, and the impression changes with the viewing angle. Sold individually; please purchase two if you would like a pair.
CLIP Collection
Designed to gently hug the earlobe, "CLIP" features two overlapping rings of different sizes, creating a three-dimensional silhouette that makes the pearl appear as if it is floating in air. Its striking sense of weightlessness and minimal, modern form make it a captivating piece. Available in two sizes, S and L, allowing you to choose your desired volume.
FAQ
Q. How should I care for and store my jewelry after wearing it?
A.After use, gently wipe away sweat and skin oils with a soft cloth (such as an eyeglass cleaning cloth) before storing.
⚠️ CAUTION: Never use abrasive materials (such as polishing cloths containing abrasives).
For pieces crafted in sterling silver (SV925) with plating, abrasive cloths will cause the plating to peel or wear off.
Additionally, even plated items may gradually tarnish over time if left exposed to sulfur in the air, sweat, or moisture. To keep your jewelry looking its best, we recommend storing it in an airtight sealable bag (such as a ziplock bag) after use.
Q. Can tarnished items be restored to their original condition?
A.Yes, we offer maintenance and repair services. Please feel free to visit our flagship store in Minami-Aoyama or send your piece to us by mail.
For minor tarnishing: We can often clean the item in-store and restore its shine on the same day.
For severe tarnishing or faded plating: We offer a re-plating service (fee applies).
Through deep cleaning or re-plating, your jewelry can be enjoyed for many years to come.
Q. Can I wear the jewelry in the bath or at a hot spring?
A.We recommend removing your jewelry when bathing, washing your face, or exercising.
In particular, hot spring minerals (such as sulfur), pool water (chlorine), and bath additives can significantly accelerate plating damage and discoloration. To prolong the life of the plating, it is also best to remove your jewelry when washing your hands or doing dishes.
Q. Can scratches or deformation of the metal be repaired?
A.Yes. We offer both maintenance and repair services.
Our craftspeople can polish out minor scratches, correct deformation, and provide other appropriate maintenance depending on the condition of your jewelry.
Please feel free to bring your piece to our flagship store or send it to us for assessment and repair.
Q. Can I see and try on the pieces in person? Can I also purchase from outside Japan?
A.Yes. You can view and try on pieces from our online store at our flagship store in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.
We also offer international shipping via DHL. International orders are subject to a shipping fee of ¥7,000 in addition to the product price. Any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
If you have any questions or concerns about ordering from overseas, please feel free to contact us by email. We will be happy to assist you.
Q. What kind of pearls are freshwater pearls?
A.Freshwater pearls are cultivated in bodies of fresh water, such as rivers and lakes, using mussels like the Ikecho mussel (cockscomb pearl mussel) as their host shells.
Unlike saltwater pearls (such as Akoya, South Sea, and Tahitian pearls), which are typically grown around a round core inserted into the oyster, freshwater pearls are often formed entirely of nacre (nucleated without a bead). This results in a rich variety of shapes—ranging from oval and teardrop to unique baroque forms—along with a soft, warm luster.
They are also relatively resistant to sweat and natural skin oils, making them durable enough for comfortable, effortless everyday wear.
Q. What is a Herkimer Diamond?
A.A Herkimer Diamond is an exceptionally clear quartz crystal found only in Herkimer County, New York. Naturally formed with double-pointed tips and 18 facets without cutting or polishing, it offers a diamond-like brilliance and raw natural beauty.
