TWIN PEARL NECKLACE M uses a twin Akoya pearl—two pearls that naturally grew connected together—as its pendant. At approximately 10–12 mm, the M size clearly shows the distinctive twin form while remaining easy to incorporate into everyday wear. Metal is wrapped around the natural indentation between the pearls to secure them with as little visible hardware as possible, allowing the naturally formed silhouette itself to become the design.

The necklace is 45 cm long. A sliding silicone ball allows the length to be shortened within a range of approximately 5 cm, so you can fine-tune the position of the pearl according to the neckline and your outfit.
The M size has enough presence to feel distinctly like pearl, while remaining moderate enough not to read as overly formal. Paired with a shirt or knit, the twin form adds a slightly casual note to pearl’s natural elegance. Recommended for those who want to wear something a little different from a conventional single-pearl necklace in everyday life.
Details
The necklace uses untreated Akoya pearls, preserving the color and luster the pearls naturally possess rather than applying color-adjustment treatment. The TWIN series values not only the unusual twin form but also the quality of the pearl itself. Through relationships with pearl suppliers in Ise-Shima that began when januka designed the lapel pins for the Ise-Shima Summit, we select the most lustrous examples possible from among many twins.
The pearl is approximately 10–12 mm as a guide, with natural variation in shape, color, and the balance between the two connected pearls. The metal can be selected in either K18YG or K10YG.

Q. 「アコヤ真珠（アコヤパール）」とはどのような真珠ですか？
A.アコヤ真珠とは、主に日本の豊かな海（三重県伊勢志摩、愛媛県宇和島、長崎県など）に生息する「アコヤ貝」から生まれる、日本を代表する伝統的な真珠です。
他の真珠に比べてキメが細かく、鏡のように強く美しい光沢（テリ）と凛とした気品を持っているのが最大の魅力です。古くから冠婚葬祭や高級ジュエリーに用いられ、世界中で愛されている宝石です。
Q. なぜ2つの真珠がくっついた「双子」の形になるのですか？
A.アコヤ貝の体内で真珠層が形成される過程で、偶然2つの真珠の核がくっつき、そのまま1つの真珠層に包まれて成長することで生まれます。

Q. 「無調色（むちょうしょく）」とはどういう意味ですか？
A.調色処理（ピンク系などの色味を人工的に整える加工）を一切行わず、「海から揚がったままの自然な色合い」を生かした状態のことです。
一般的な真珠の多くは色味を整える加工が施されますが、無調色のアコヤ真珠は、ひとつひとつ微妙に異なる透明感のあるホワイト、ほのかに透けるブルーやピンク、ゴールドといった天然ならではの深みとニュアンスのある美しさを持っています。
Q. アコヤ真珠を取り扱う上で、気をつけるべき注意点はありますか？
A.真珠は水や汗、酸（化粧品や香水など）にとても繊細な宝石です。長く美しい状態を保つために、以下の点にご注意ください。
着用はメイク・香水の後に： メイク、日焼け止め、香水、ヘアスプレーなどをすべて使い終わった一番最後にジュエリーを着用してください。
水濡れ・入浴は避ける： 汗や水が付着したまま放置するとテリが曇る原因となります。お風呂、温泉、プール、手洗い時は必ず外してください。
ご使用後のお手入れ： お出かけから戻られたら、眼鏡拭きなどの柔らかい布で汗や皮脂を優しく拭き取ってから保管してください。
保管方法： 硬い宝石や金属製ジュエリーとぶつかると真珠の表面に傷がついてしまうため、個別のポーチやケースに入れて保管するのがおすすめです。
Q. Can I see and try on the pieces in person? Can I also purchase from outside Japan?
A.Yes. You can view and try on pieces from our online store at our flagship store in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.
We also offer international shipping via DHL. International orders are subject to a shipping fee of ¥7,000 in addition to the product price. Any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer.
