About januka
januka is a Japanese jewelry brand based in Tokyo, founded in 2012 by designer Jo Nakamura.Rooted in the idea of “slightly out of the paragon,” the brand reexamines traditional jewelry through a subtle shift in perspective.Working with skilled Japanese artisans, januka creates carefully crafted pieces that highlight the unique character of natural stones.

Made in Japan / Craftsmanship

All januka jewelry is made in Japan.
We work closely with small workshops,
where techniques are passed down quietly, over time.

Many of our stones are cut exclusively for januka, revealing patterns and expressions that are never exactly the same.No two pieces are identical —that subtle difference is part of their beauty.
Jewelry in Everyday Life
Materials / Care & Aftercare
Each piece is made using natural stones and precious metals such as silver and gold.januka jewelry embraces a certain fragility — a quiet balance between precision and sensitivity. Because of this, we value long-term care as much as creation. If your piece is ever damaged, we offer ongoing support and repair, so it can continue to age alongside you. januka operates a directly owned store in Tokyo and provides ongoing care and repair support, both in person and remotely.
