This ring from the Band Series showcases the unique character of hematite-included quartz. The reddish-brown inclusions spreading throughout the transparent quartz create a sense of depth, as if a landscape were trapped within the stone. Depending on the angle of the light and the viewer’s perspective, the intensity and arrangement of the inclusions shift subtly, allowing even the same stone to present a different impression—a charm unique to this gemstone.
The stone is cut into a neat square shape, and its clean contours make the inner scenery stand out even more vividly. Rather than encasing the stone, the design supports it like a band, highlighting the stone’s transparency and the presence of the inclusions without detracting from them.

The ring is crafted from 10K yellow gold. The subdued golden hue harmonizes naturally with the reddish-brown tones of the hematite-included quartz, lending the entire piece a warm, inviting feel. The slender band is designed to highlight the presence of the central stone while maintaining a balance that allows it to sit lightly and comfortably on the finger.

Band series

Unlike conventional stone clasps, this unique stone clasp is set with gold lines and unevenness by digging a groove in the stone. The stone is not covered by claws, so the entire view of the stone can be seen, and the non-decorative structure is a feature of the design. The series is the result of handiwork that “only a person can do” to the nearest 0.1 millimeter, using advanced processing techniques by a precious stone engraver and a craftsman dedicated to metalworking in Kofu.
